/ nightWinnemucca Spa's guest suite is a private experience with its own entrance, hot tub, wet sauna, and stunning Rocky Mountain views. Designed as a peaceful adults-only retreat, the suite is ideal for couples looking for a romantic escape or a quiet basecamp for exploring the Pikes Peak region. Whether it’s hiking forest trails, catching live music in the funky town of Manitou Springs, or standing in awe at the towering red rocks of Garden of the Gods… the mountains are calling. Welcome home. >A One-of-a-Kind Mountain Retreat Designed by renowned architect Elizabeth Wright Ingraham — the granddaughter of Frank Lloyd Wright — this home is truly unlike any other in Colorado. Elizabeth lived here herself for several years before selling the property, giving our community a special connection to her remarkable mountain-inspired architecture. The lower-level spa suite offers a cozy and romantic space designed for relaxation after a day exploring the Colorado mountains. >Included in the suite you'll find: • Two romantic bedrooms • The primary bedroom features an ensuite bathroom with a private indoor wet sauna • The second bedroom has its own full bathroom located just down the hall • A dedicated movie theater room with projector, large screen, and wrap-around couch • A private outdoor hot tub perfect for soaking beneath the stars Your private entrance opens onto a fully fenced one-acre yard, providing plenty of space to relax and enjoy the mountain surroundings. Nearby trails lead into the surrounding forest, including a beautiful and secluded waterfall hike known by locals. Wildlife is common in the area, and it’s not unusual to see deer passing through the yard along with a variety of mountain birds. >The Perfect Basecamp for the Pikes Peak Region Winnemucca Spa sits in a quiet residential mountain neighborhood on 1.5 acres, offering privacy and open space while still being part of a peaceful mountain community. The entrance to Pikes Peak Highway is just a 5-minute drive away, giving you easy access to one of Colorado’s famous 14,000-foot mountains — and one of the few you can drive all the way to the summit. A short drive will also take you to the charming mountain town of Green Mountain Falls, known for its picturesque lake and small-town feel. In about 15 minutes, you can reach the uniquely vibrant town of Manitou Springs, where you'll find the historic penny arcade, eclectic shops, restaurants, spas, and access to the breathtaking red rock formations of Garden of the Gods. >Property Layout & Privacy The spa suite is located on the lower level of the home with its own private entrance on the back side of the house. The upper level of the home is a separate rental known as Winnemucca Heights. While both spaces share the same property, there are no shared indoor areas, and the amenities listed here are completely private to the spa suite. Occasionally guests may see one another outdoors, as the upper level has a hot tub on the balcony above, though most guests rarely cross paths. >Pet Friendly Well-behaved dogs are welcome (up to two dogs under 50 lbs). • $40 pet fee per stay • Dogs must be house trained • Pets are not allowed on furniture • Dogs should not be left unattended if prone to barking or other behavioral issues The fully fenced yard provides a great place for dogs to enjoy the mountain air. >Getting Around A car is recommended for exploring the area. Ride-share services like Uber can be limited in the mountains. Several Colorado ski resorts, including Breckenridge and Copper Mountain, are about 1.5 hours away, making for an incredibly scenic drive through the Rockies. During snowy months, a vehicle suitable for mountain driving is recommended. Roads are generally well maintained and plowed regularly, and chains are typically not required. >Important Notes • Adults-only property – not suitable for children or infants • Small, respectful gatherings are welcome but no parties • Quiet hours: 11 PM – 9 AM • Smoking outdoors only • Please rinse off lotions, oils, and soaps before using the hot tub to help keep it clean • Wildlife is common in the area, so please keep trash secured and avoid leaving food outside >Your Host Your host Kyla Rae was born and raised in Colorado and loves helping guests discover the best the region has to offer. Whether you're looking for hiking trails, fly fishing, restaurants, or unique local experiences, she’s happy to share recommendations. While Kyla will not be on site during your stay, she is always available by message and can arrange local assistance if needed.

May 2025 5.00We enjoyed our stay here! I traveled with an old childhood friend of mine, and we loved having our own rooms and bathrooms for a reasonable price. The hot tub and sauna were relaxing and I was able to hike out to the RTP trailhead one of the mornings. The space is clean, and our host was always responsive. I definitely recommend this place.

May 2025 5.00First of all, this place was perfect, cozy and private. Kyla Rae obviously takes a great amount of pride, time and work into her place. The price was unreal compared to the other things we looked into. The view was spectacular. I honestly can't think of one single complaint. We are very appreciative.

April 2025 3.50Good location, reasonable value Positive: Hot tub and sauna. I’d like for the tub to get hotter and to not be exposed to the MJ smoking on the deck right above the tub. The sauna didn’t work but was quickly remedied, only to have it not work the next day. The kitchen is small but more than adequate with a full sized refrigerator and upgraded stove and sink. The best part about this rental is the location to local attractions. Although it is near the highway, it is generally quiet. Negative: The crystals/rocks hanging from the ceiling and the new-age/Eastern religious artifacts and decor. I think a more neutral decor would be better suited to a variety of guests. The TV projector and screen are of poor quality. A large screen TV would serve that small room more than adequately. The sofa in that room is sagging and worn out. There’s no electric plugs by either vanities so hair drying cannot be done easily. Multiple upgrades to this aging guest home are needed.

April 2025 5.00Mountain getaway with a beautiful view and a great place to soak in the hot tub after hiking the trails! Positive: The view was amazing to wake up to and we watched a beautiful sunrise over Waldo canyon. The view from the hot tub and the cleanliness of the hot tub and the area it was in was incredible. The house itself was beautiful with a cozy vibe and fun decor.

March 2025 4.00Positive: Loved the hot tub area and the views, enjoyed wildlife, close to restaurants and activities. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The house was cute, clean, comfortable. The renters in the upstairs part of the house (Winnemucca Heights) were quiet and respectful. Negative: It was a bit noisy from th highway traffic during the evenings- its very close to the highway. Also, I didn't realize the entrance to the basement (Winnnemucca Spa) was so trecherous for old/limited ability people, so that was a tough little trek for an old girl with a bad knee. I would also recommend a night light:)
