Romantic Hot Tub, Sauna & Mountain Views

We enjoyed our stay here! I traveled with an old childhood friend of mine, and we loved having our own rooms and bathrooms for a reasonable price. The hot tub and sauna were relaxing and I was able to hike out to the RTP trailhead one of the mornings. The space is clean, and our host was always responsive. I definitely recommend this place.

Kyle Rae’s place was fantastic and very close to Green Mountain Falls, Manitou, and everything else in the area. She was very responsive and hospitable. We’d recommend staying here to anybody!

First of all, this place was perfect, cozy and private. Kyla Rae obviously takes a great amount of pride, time and work into her place. The price was unreal compared to the other things we looked into. The view was spectacular. I honestly can't think of one single complaint. We are very appreciative.

Good location, reasonable value Positive: Hot tub and sauna. I’d like for the tub to get hotter and to not be exposed to the MJ smoking on the deck right above the tub. The sauna didn’t work but was quickly remedied, only to have it not work the next day. The kitchen is small but more than adequate with a full sized refrigerator and upgraded stove and sink. The best part about this rental is the location to local attractions. Although it is near the highway, it is generally quiet. Negative: The crystals/rocks hanging from the ceiling and the new-age/Eastern religious artifacts and decor. I think a more neutral decor would be better suited to a variety of guests. The TV projector and screen are of poor quality. A large screen TV would serve that small room more than adequately. The sofa in that room is sagging and worn out. There’s no electric plugs by either vanities so hair drying cannot be done easily. Multiple upgrades to this aging guest home are needed.

Mountain getaway with a beautiful view and a great place to soak in the hot tub after hiking the trails! Positive: The view was amazing to wake up to and we watched a beautiful sunrise over Waldo canyon. The view from the hot tub and the cleanliness of the hot tub and the area it was in was incredible. The house itself was beautiful with a cozy vibe and fun decor.

Positive: Loved the hot tub area and the views,enjoyed wildlife, close to restaurants and activities. The bed was amazingly comfortable. The house was cute, clean, comfortable. The renters in the upstairs part of the house (Winnemucca Heights) were quiet and respectful. Negative: It was a bit noisy from th highway traffic during the evenings- its very close to the highway. Also, I didn't realize the entrance to the basement (Winnnemucca Spa) was so trecherous for old/limited ability people, so that was a tough little trek for an old girl with a bad knee. I would also recommend a night light:)

Mountain Zen Den Positive: This was a cozy little zen retreat nestled in shadow of Pikes Peak. The views alone are reason enough to stay here! However, the hot tub, sauna, and fully stocked and functional home make it nearly perfect for your home base. We've been to this area of Colorado many times, and this home is high up on the list of favorites! Kyla has made sure your stay is comfortable and provides pretty much all of the essentials you might need. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes, seasonings, and even some food items. The bathrooms come with plenty of linens. The home is decorated nicely and quirky in some areas, which I loved! The area is centrally located among nature with trails to explore. Of course, there is always the pulse racing trek up Pikes Peak to ignite your adrenaline! I would definitely stay here again! Negative: Not that I didn't like it, but the stove was a bit tricky to get used to. It's an induction stove and requires pots to be certain sizes to work. And, if you take the pots off the stove for a minute or two to drain or stir or whatever, it'll turn off quite quickly on you. I didn't realize that at first, and I was wondering why my food wasn't cooking lol. It was a learning curve as I had never used an induction stove before. Definitely NOT a deal breaker! =)

It was great. We really enjoyed it. We would def. stay here again. Positive: We had a wonderful time. The sauna and spa were nice. The view was excellent. The owner was quick to respond to my text. I would definitely stay here again. Negative: The mattress on the full bed sunk in the middle.

Great location with amenities! Positive: Great location! Feels like you are far away from city, and there are lots of things to do in the area. Hot tub, sauna and views were wonderful. Negative: There is another unit directly above. We could hear footsteps, their conversations and the TV very clearly.

Great place to stay at!

Perfect Cozy Mountain Getaway Positive: My partner and our puppy traveled here for a short, close birthday weekend to the Garden of the Gods, the Manitou Cliff Dwellings, and, of course, Pub Dog for the pup. The house, amenities, views, and location to everything were perfect. The hot tub, sauna, and mini theater room were enough for me to consider staying in! The large fenced-in yard was also perfect for our pup. We had such an amazing time and look forward to coming back. Highly recommend this place!

Um Pikes Peak zu erobern! Ausreichend! Aber zu teuer! Positive: War grundsätzlich ok! Leider sucht man vergeblich europäischen Standard! Alles lieblos und auch in die Jahre gekommen. Wirkt so als man alte gebrauchte Möbelstücke, Betten usw dafür nutzt! Was grundsätzlich ok ist, man aber bei diesen Preisen viel mehr erwartet! Negative: Etwas zu teuer!

The place was exactly as advertised. The location was great! We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, as well as the theater room. The beds/bedding were comfortable too. We had a couple questions for Kyla during our stay and the responses were quick! ...faster and easier than any other host we've ever had. I feel the rental is a great value and would recommend to others. Make sure to check out the Pantry for breakfast...the patio is beautiful and the food was delicious.

Great location and proximity to all the nearby activities. We loved that the place was stocked up in the kitchen and bathrooms. The fenced in 1 acre lot with deck was great for us & the dogs! Would stay here again if in the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was extremely clean and the King bed was very comfortable. We spent the majority of our time on the porch listening to the birds and enjoying the scenery. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax. Kyla was a great host!

We stayed here for a few days on our honeymoon and had a wonderful time. Positive: This was a beautiful property with amazing views. The hot tub and sauna were amazing. It was clean and we enjoyed making food in the kitchen and eating on the deck, with the occasional dear popping by to say hello. Negative: The road to get to the house was very steep, but there was an alternative road to take if needed.

The house was amazing and very cozy. We enjoyed all the amenities especially the hot tub. It’s very close to downtown manitou Springs with lots of beautiful shopping spots and great places to eat. Kyla was very helpful and would always respond fast whenever we reached out.

We had one issue with the water and they came and fixed it within 30minutes of us reaching out.

I think we all would say we absolutely loved it. We also plan on coming back to the same or any of your other properties Positive: I loved the scenery and how quiet the area was. Also loved seeing the deer at night/morning. Negative: Definitely a different kinda drive to the property. Still loved it though!

The feedback and communication was great! There was an issue with the sink but there was a note when we got there. The other issues were communicated between us and handled accordingly.

This was an amazing AirBNB. Probably one of the best so far. We loved the hot tub and Sauna and all the fireplaces. The decor was also amazing. Another thing that stood out was that the place had high end appliances and a well stocked kitchen with small appliances and utensils plus spices and other cooking items. Kyla even has an high end washer and dryer. We definitely will be back.

My husband and I rented this for a weekend away with another set of friends. We had a great time. We were mostly out exploring during our visit but the hot tub and fire places were perfect after a long day out hiking. We had a great relaxing time. Almost every morning a herd of deer walked past the back fence line up the mountain and when we left we saw racoon prints in the snow. So peaceful.

This is a great place for a family with kids and pets. We wanted a private place for an anniversary trip and it did not fit that bill. Not truly a spa-like atmosphere.

the location was very beautiful. The view from the hot tub was stellar. The projector room was one of our favorites at night, while at the residence. We really got to enjoy an escape out in Cascade. We both agree (my girlfriend and I) we want to come back when there is not 30in of snow fall on the ground. Although that gave a very compfy feel to the whole experience. Amazing job Kyla and thank you again for letting us stay.

We had the misfortune of being stuck in a massive snowstorm while on vacation. We were snowed in for almost 3 days, and without power for more than 12 hours. That said, the place was as advertised. The view is gorgeous, and the hot tub is perfect for enjoying a chilly (or snowy) evening. We also enjoyed grilling on the deck. The wet sauna was so awesome to sit in after a soak in the hot tub. As others have mentioned, this property is on the lower level of the house, so access is a set of stone steps along the side of the house. The steps are fairly wide and the handrail is super-solid, so as long as mobility isn't an issue, the steps shouldn't be, either. The area is a bit remote, as it is in a valley between mountains. I would suggest picking up supplies in Colorado Springs instead of relying on Cascade or Manitou Springs for groceries or restaurants. Kyla and her team were communicative and were a great help getting the drive cleared and our car shoveled out.

Nice open space surrounded by nature. The fenced in space was a little hilly so it was hard for our older dog to navigate. Other than that we had an amazing time disconnecting! Also the beds were very comfortable.

While the place has been a labor of love, during our stay, key components ranged from disastrously dysfunctional to not as described. First, the hot tub, sadly subpar, was stinky and not filled to proper level. The host promised someone would come promptly, but nobody appeared. The "oven," listed as an amenity, was assured by the host to be a convection oven within the microwave. However, it was merely a mundane microwave, making some pre-planned meals impossible to prepare. The pinnacle of our predicaments, however, was the saga of the smoking sauna. The newly installed sauna hardware, quickly turned into an evactuation fiasco. Upon activation, it belched billows of plastic-tinged smoke, engulfing us in nauseating haze that quickly spread throughout the house, and hastily driving us from our dwelling before the second night. The good news is the house itself has a quirky, homey charm that we enjoyed. Our host was responsive and swiftly offered a refund for the quick evacuation.

Wonderful location and peaceful surroundings with a great view.

The view was absolutely beautiful and Kyla was SO sweet and accommodating. The home is quite large and her decorating style added a great touch. You’re out of the way of the city but just close enough to colorado springs to go out and enjoy nice restaurants and some parks close by. Only 10 minutes from cave tours and not far from the Garden of the Gods. Thank you Kyla for welcoming us into your wonderful home and accommodating our family with such late notice! One thing I think guests should know is the backyard is *STEEP*. I should’ve assumed this with booking an airbnb on a mountain but it is quite an incline to get down to the flat area of the yard for someone that’s clumsy like myself or for small children haha.

This was our first time in Colorado and it was just so beautiful. To be able to spend a few days and actually stay in the mountains was totally worth it instead of staying at a hotel. It felt cozy and was just amazing. We used the hot tub and star gazed too!!

Pictures and words can’t explain how beautiful the views are while you’re resting in a hot tub in the mountains. And where do I begin about having a sauna inside your Airbnb. Heated up very quickly, left us feeling very relaxed and refreshed. This is the perfect spot of you’re looking to relax and get away and unplug. We will definitely be back.

We absolutely loved our vacation here. The views from every window of this house were outstanding. The backyard was perfect for our kids and dog to run and play. We liked being able to take advantage of the hot tub and 4/20 friendliness of this airbnb. We can't wait for another trip to Colorado!!

this was our first time seeing the mountains, and it didn't disappoint. I love the location. it's like you are in the middle of the woods while being 15 minutes from the city. driving to twin lakes was a wonderful drive but stressful in the snow. I would totally recommend and will be back.

We stayed at Kyla's with the main intent of disconnecting from the world and just relaxing and recharging. It was like her place was made for exactly that. We used the sauna and hot tub at least twice a day...it was exactly what we needed. My nervous system is so happy after our long weekend enjoying that sweet place! Our dogs took full advantage of the securely fenced in HUGE yard! They explored and played in the snow and had lots of wildlife to watch. Kyla was quick to respond when we needed help with the hot tub setting and she was def a top notch host.

Kyla's place was just as advertised! We had a blast at this location. Beautiful views from the hot tub, great touches on the decor, and it also snowed during our stay to top it off. Overall, it was a great experience for my family and I, and we were thankful to have it at her beautiful mountain home. We'll definitely look her up again if we ever get a chance to come back to Colorado.

Amazing! I wished I would’ve stayed here for my whole vacation. This place is so cute and cozy it felt like home. Everything in the house was so thought out and organized. Kyla also responded quickly and was kind if I reached out. All the amenities were amazing. The only thing is it is a shared airbnb so there was someone staying on top of us in the house but it still felt really private , you could just hear them every now and then.

Nice mountain getaway in a nice neighborhood with a beautiful view! The space was huge and comfortable. It still felt private being the downstairs of a home, I never saw our upstairs neighbors but I could definitely hear them. That is to be expected with a lower level though. The beds were very comfortable and the views from each window were great to wake up to :)

Great place for our mountain weekend getaway!

What a comfortable, well-appointed, peaceful, picturesque stay! While we anticipated all of that based upon the pictures, our expectations were exceeded when we arrived. Not only is this a wonderful setting for a retreat, getaway, base camp, or a simple home-away-from-home, but Kyla is a very strong, clear, concise communicator; very responsive; and made the whole process quite simple and efficient, making for an entirely stress-free and pleasant experience. If I could give 7 stars, I would! Thank you for a memorable stay for our 21st Birthday Party Crew!

The Airbnb was amazing, Kyla was very friendly and responded to my messages pretty quickly. The Mountain View’s was gorgeous and we will definitely miss our stay there. We hope to come back again during our next trip in CO.

Motion light only on stone steps down. Path to entrance dark and treacherous. Path lights broken. We were not able to connect to wi-fi so our phones wouldn't work. We couldn't call her. There was a glass top electric stove, but no instructions on how to use it. Couldn't get it to work so we had to cook with the microwave. Finally, I wrote a note and taped it to the garage door. On our last night there, she finally came down to talk to us. Turns out, we had to put a pan on the burner before turning the stove on, but it had to be a special pan. The king sized bed in the master bedroom had a soft and squishy foam mattress. If you slept on the right side, it was like sleeping on the side of a hill. Not the best for your back. The great room had a gas fireplace but not one comfortable chair or couch to sit and enjoy it. Only a picnic table to eat on. The couch was in a tiny room where there was a projector and a cloth screen on the wall. Would not have worked b/c no internet.

We really enjoyed the view of the mountains. The hot tub was an added bonus. The place was clean and well kept. We especially enjoyed the swinging chair in the kitchen. Kyla was quick to respond to our emails. It was an easy drive to Manitou Springs and all the attractions. We wound definitely stay again.

This was a beautiful Airbnb in the mountains of Colorado with mind blowing views! Kyla was very friendly and communicative during our stay. We were unfortunately unable to use the hot tub, however Kyla let us know ahead of time and refunded the spa fee. Overall, Kyla was a great host and this was a fun stop along the way of our road trip!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kyla's mountain home! Beautiful views and just minutes away from many popular attractions in the area (Manitou Incline, Pikes Peak, Cave of the Winds, Cliff Dwellings, etc.). Our dog loved the fenced in yard and getting to watch the wildlife roam around while we relaxed on the back porch. Hosts were very clear with rules and instructions, and made sure we knew they were available if needed while still giving us plenty of privacy. We had 0 issues during our stay. Very comfortable beds and plenty of space/amenities. Would definently recommend to anyone looking for some peace and privacy while still being conveniently located in the area!
